Important

February will be the last month for the FVAC (for a while, anyway). Due to an ongoing family emergency, I can not keep the meetings going right now. In the future, I would like to start it up again, once things have settled down. So March 3rd will be the last meeting, with the Lovebird for Life going to the lucky person who's name is drawn from the Random.org hat. I'm sorry for having to stop so suddenly. Keep arting in the meantime.

Do you like art?

Maybe you are like some of us, and need a little motivation to get creative? Maybe you are looking for new ideas?

The Furcadian Visual Arts Club is for people of all skill levels interested in creating art.

Every week a new Sketchbook Project is assigned. It could be drawn on paper, painted, sculpted, or done on a computer. Be creative! Each week's assignment is a different idea or technique. The purpose is to encourage everyone's creativity, and give us all a reason to practice. No one is required to participate every week, but it is encouraged. (Official members must submit something at least once each month.) Each time you do a Sketchbook Project, you get a rose and are entered in the drawing for our next BIG PRIZE! Plus, the winner each week gets to take the cookies from the Cookie Box. Submit your project to Weave, or use the form on the top right corner of this page to enter.

Meetings are held every Monday from 6:30pm FST until whenever everyone leaves. The dream can be found in Acropolis, just north of the Storyteller's Circle. The winner of the Sketchbook Project will be announced each week at the meeting on Monday. The random drawings are held on the first Monday of the month.

Joining is easy, just show up and participate. Spread the word by putting a link to this page in your desc!

Where is the FVAC dream?

Weave tries to keep the dream up, so cookies can be donated at the Cookie Box for the winner each week. She doesn't always succeed, but when the dream is up, you can click here to go there. If you feel like taking a stroll around, go to the main map called Acropolis. Go to the center, where the Storyteller's Circle is. Just north of the seats is a small pond. At the top tip of that is where the dream should be.

If the dream uploader, Visual Arts Club, is online, you can always send a join request ( `join VisualArtsClub ). Please whisper ahead of time ( /VisualArtsClub I want to be summoned! ), to get my attention, or I may not notice.
